Can I apply makeup after I've applied the moisturiser??
Absolutely. First cleanse, tone and moisturise, and only then apply the makeup. It is best to use a Premier moisturiser always before makeup because the moisturiser will serve as an optimal barrier and base, preventing your pores from being blocked by the makeup.
Did Cleopatra really bathe in the Dead Sea?
Not only did Cleopatra take a bath in the Dead Sea but legend tells that she spared no expense and went great lengths in order to obtain exclusive rights to the region of the Dead Sea. Some even speculate that because the Roman Empire ruled over the region of the Dead Sea, Mark Antony was only a means to an end for Cleopatra's inexhaustible desire for beauty. Cleopatra liked the Dead Sea with such a passion that she decided to get it for herself! She did the ancient Egyptian equivalent of the following and at her command, cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufactures were constructed in that region to harness the therapeutic and beauty benefits of the mud and minerals of the Dead Sea. You can still see some remains of the aforementioned structures at Ein Gedi and Ein Bokek.
What are the differences between the Protecting Day Cream Complex and Active Moisture Complex?
The Active Moisture Cream Complex revitalises the cells of the skin and aids cellular metabolism, moisturising from within, nourishing the skin and acting against any wrinkles. The Protecting Day Cream Complex is our deepest moisturising treatment, and it also protects the skin against the harmful effects of the elements, improving the skin’s resistance to wind, sun, cold and sudden changes of temperature. Both products contain UVB & UVA Sun Filter Protection (SPF 17) and are available for Normal-Oily and Normal-Dry skin. First cleanse the skin, then use soft circular to apply the serum until absorbed, and lastly apply the cream. The serum will help skin in absorbing better the cream.
In the Precise range of Premier products, what are the advantages of separating the active ingredient (mineral bars) from the cream?
Additional protection against oxidation. Oxidation occurs when the ingredients in cosmetic products are exposed to the air; when this happens, the air’s oxygen attacks the active ingredients and decreases their effectiveness. In a similar way, the water contained in creams has oxygen that also oxidises the ingredients, reducing their usefulness. We have patented and developed a process to isolate the cream from the active ingredients and protect them from the air by a proprietary purification process, freezing these ingredients at ambient temperature. (Not unlike how glass is a solid at ambient temperature but liquid when it’s heated above certain point). This process maintains the effectiveness of our products during more time.
How/why would I use a moisturiser along a serum?
Our serums are concentrated and very active skin care treatments. When used along moisturising creams, they augment its effects by being absorbed directly into the cells of the skin and, besides their effects which are very active, they ready the skin to assimilate the moisturising cream. They act as a Director, extracting the best possible results for the skin from the moisturiser. Apply the serum first and the moisturiser, when using both.
Why does the Dead Sea have such a singular healing ability, that has no equal among the other oceans or seas?
The water from the Dead Sea has a saline content of 32 % (in comparison to the 3 % found in most seas) with a relatively elevated concentration of certain minerals such as bromide, calcium, potassium and magnesium. Contact with the water from the Dead Sea has been known to reduce rheumatic discomfort, nourish the skin, relax nerves and activate circulation. After all, a lot of European health funds entrust their members for treatment for rheumatic and chronic skin conditions to the Dead Sea. Floating effortlessly allows for an easier, free and more relaxed movement in its waters which enhances the success of physiotherapy.
